The Iowa Soybean Association and our corporate sponsors invite you to participate in a program of learning and collaboration where emerging farm and urban leaders will solve problems and grasp opportunities in which they share a common interest, but lack common understanding. It’s called the Ag-Urban Leadership Initiative.     The Ag-Urban Leadership Initiative seeks out candidates from agricultural and urban sectors who recognize that communities, families, and businesses throughout Iowa will benefit from developing leaders who   • understand the complex issues surrounding agriculture’s economic, agronomic, and environmental performance,   • comprehend the challenges and opportunities of Iowa’s changing urban business and cultural landscape, AND • have worked together to build skills and relationships that produce solutions. Through a year of learning and working on targeted projects, strong action networks of informed leaders, skilled in thinking through issues and producing solutions together, will be built.
